I picked up the game of rugby in college, and could never have managed the game without the skills I took from high school sports. I had graduated high school a 3 sport, 12 varsity letter athlete, in soccer, basketball and softball, as well as TaeKwon Do outside of school. However, I was seeking a new athletic experience. Rugby is clearly one of the toughest sports any man or woman could ever participate in. It requires a combination of athletic skills ranging from soccer to football, strength building, a dancer's agility, as well as a contact fighters attitude. Only true all around athlete's even have a chance in this game.
