Why should Rugby be Olympic? The Olympics epitomise a truly global sporting solidarity movement and including Rugby 7s as one of its events has long been overdue. Rugby 7s embodies a true spirit of sportmanship and all the attributes of athletic excellence to deserve its place in the Olympics.

God used rugby to change my life, to keep me out of immense destructive trouble in my teen years. Rugby is more than just a game, it is a true sport!! A life changer.

More exposure for the rugby game worldwide.

Its a sport that epitomises everything about humanity...it has brought unity, friendship and taken children off the streets in my country.What then can't it do for the rest of the world?

Rugby holds the same exact values that all other olympic team sports hold. Family, comraderyship (sp), and most importantly teamwork. Rugby is a game that takes more than just 1 person, in a game of 7's it takes all 7 players and coaches to their full potential. I as a 17 year old rugby playing female in the usa would die for the opportunity to play in an olympic rugby match, let alone see one in my lifetime.
