I have just turned 8 years of age. Every Saturday morning I am very much looking forward to join my friends and the Centaurs Rugby Club. I am watching the the great rugby teams on the TV and the rugby game is altogether a great team sport that represent a lot of good in sport and would be a good fit for being represented at the Olympic's.

Because this sport is as magnificent as all the sports out there!

Swifter, Higher, Stronger which is the Olympic motto and words synonomous with the sport of Rugby. 15 players working together as one machine towards one goal. All unique in their own way yet using each other's strengths to overcome their weakness. Two rival teams which would be willing to do battle like gladiators til the final whistle is blown then congratualte each other on how well they did with a brotherly embrace. That is the spirit of Rugby, it has an olympic legacy, the players know it the fans know it let the world enbrace it.

Rugby Sevens is a fast paced 2 days spectacular sporting event which is both TV viewer and Stadium Spectator friendly. This has been epitomised by the successful staging of the IRB Sevens Globally as well as the Sevens Tournaments in the Commonwealth Games. Singapore has been priviliged to participate in and host the IRB Sevens in the recent past

My son plays rugby. He also plays soccer. But he enjoys rugby the most as the camaraderie is amazing in that sport. As a first time spectator I find that the trys are very exciting.
