We want Rugby at the Olympic Games:

The sevens has proved it is an exciting, enjoyable sport which can attract a huge audience and not take up a big deal of time. It is ideal and encapsulates the spirit of the Olympics.

7's rugby is fast, energetic and physical sport. The Olympic motto is "higher, faster, stronger" - does that apply to squash, baseball or golf? not really, but it does for rugby!! Include it in the Olympics!!

A truly exciting sport which draws crowds, would raise the sport's profile and add a game which perfectly fits the ethos of the Olympics.

Because, as of yet, The Games lacks a competitive/contact/team sport which is idolised by a very significant proportion of the world's population. The only way for the Olympics to succeed and grow is to introduce Rugby NOW to spearhead The Games and help it go from strength to strength in future years!

A great sport. It's exciting fast and a genuine test of ability. Also it is popular and will help develop global sport. Just because the USA aren't so good doesn't mean it isn't worthy.

Because it is one of the fastest growing sports and this would spread it further. There are many smaller countries that would get more Olympic exposure by having this as an event.

Sevens is unpredictable, compelling and awe inspiring. Sevens is the most physically demanding team ball game around and it requires skill - yet countries new to rugby are already masters in it; Portugal, Kenya, Spain etc. The competitions are wonderful family events

because it has a positive impact on everything it touches. it is a growing sport and would be an exciting addition to the olympic set up!

Where else does all aspects of fitness, skill and perserverance take place?

Rugby is an iconic sport, with a good reputation. Why shouldn't this increasingly popular sport become Olympic. I would love it.

Rugby is the most under-rated game in the world. It caters for all body builds, cultures, ages and both sexes. When I picked up rugby as a 14 year old it began to transform me from a quiet, self-conscious boy who struggled to believe in himself, to being a confident, fit and healthy individual

Rugby teaches the importance of team work, tactics and mutual respect for your opposition in a dignified and wonderful. Rugby is a game that will just keep giving, even after you stop playing!

It is a truly democratic sport; covering all nations, classes and faiths. Everyone can, and does, play.

There are plenty of countries that play the game and see Rugby as an International sport.

It has history, it is an excellent team game and it is long overdue.

It has all that is good about the olympics. High quality, top level sporting occasion, and a massive global following.

It has the reputation of being elitist which it is not. Prove it by allowng it to be an olympic sport
