Rugby should be given Olympic status as no other sport encompasses the Olympic ideals more the rugby. It is also a sport that is working hard to spread it's global appeal and would be a great chance for countries like Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, New Zealand and Ireland to pick up medals.

Rugby is a field sport and is much more physical and faster than the likes of golf and baseball (which I understand are competing for the position). I would rather see 7s Rugby in than none, but 15s is better still!
