I can not think of any other sport that truly epitomises what the Olympics is; Gladiatorial, immensely competitive and yet the athletes show the up-most respect for each other, unlike many of the sports today.

Rugby is an as good as sport as football and should be given the same amount of attention as football. if football is an olympic sport then rugby should definately be aswell!

If baseball can be included where the the WORLD series is contested by one country then rugby should as there are over 100 countries that play the sport. It has also been over 85 years since in was last in the Olympics, the USA might not want it back in as they are the current holders of the gold medal!!!

Rugby is a truly international sport that has always embraced every size and shape. The international family of rugby playing nations have managed to retain the warmth, respect and good humour for each other that is the spirit of the game at its grassroots level. Rugby is the catalyst for relationships between players that last a lifetime.
