It would make Rugby more public and maybe more people would start playing, especially in my country!

Because rugby is one of the best sportswhich exist. it really should be olympic because in austria we don't see much rugby on tv in our tv-channels. but if its going to be olympic it will be in tv :)

It's a great game. Fast, many athletic skills needed, both individually and as a team. A huge amount of physical personal commitment is required. There is a long and well established tradition of respect for the referee and for the opposing players. Please bring it back to the Olympic programme.

It´s a fast an powerful Teamsport , the rugby-spirit could be used as a synonym. fairplay- teamspirit- respect your opponent- having a big party together!

Why not? It is an excellent team sport that requires versatility and as far as games go has the highest chance of being unique. More than any other sport, no two games could ever be the same. Also has a massive fan base throughout the world with people of all nationalities and ethnicities. For something as global as the olympics, there's no better choice.
