Because it is a team sport that is played by all nationals involved at a world cup level like many of the other sports involved in the olympics. the comraderie amongst teams and amongst other countries within the sport is remarkable and respectable. it is a game that involves many profesional athletes whom all have the same dream to compete for their country to win an olympic medal, how come other sports have that privledge but not Rugby!? Pierre de Coubertin would be disappointed. we should be encouraging all sports to reach the top to encourage the kids of today that sport and physical activity is something to continue to do for years to come!
