Rugby was one of the earliest sports played at the beginning of the modern Olympics and should be reintroduced in view of the vast number of people now playing riugby all over the world.It is far more representative of world sport than so many of the more recent ones taken into the Olympic e.g. synchronised swimming and the like.

There are plenty of countries with rugby teams. We allow other sports where a small majority of countries are allowed to play, if it is good enough for those sports then it is good enough for all sports
