All of the publicly available tickets for the Wellington leg of the Sevens World Series were snapped up in the new record time - apparently last time it took all but 10 minutes.

The event is a huge crowd magnet and the demand of tickets by far outstrips the supply. Maybe it is time for a bigger stadium - the Hurricanes probably wouldn't mind?

The NZI Sevens will kick off on February 5th 2010 with England defending the title for the first time.
